The 3 Beach Minimum Half Marathon is proud to support the efforts of the New England chapter of the American Liver Foundation in its drive to promote awareness and research for liver disease. ALF has deep roots in the community, as Scituate resident Bobby Banks was the founder of the Liver Foundation’s “Run For Research” team, the oldest charity team associated with the Boston Marathon.

So that the race can also benefit the towns locally, proceeds from the race have also supported such groups as the Wellspring Multi-Service Center in Hull, the Cohasset Education Foundation, Raising Harts and the Scituate Education Foundation.

We’re so excited to have filled a void of half marathons in the area, but we’re even more proud that this event gives everyone involved a vehicle to give back to the community.
